Matar paneer is Indian cuisine it is popular dish of north Indian it is made of cheese (paneer )and peas cooked in a spicy and flavorsome curry
It serve with plain rice ,chapati or butter naan
It is rich in protein great value in diet especially in the Indian vegetarian context, because it contains a fairly high level of fat and proteins
Ingredients of matar paneer-
Panner 250g,
Matar (pea) 100 g
Ginger paste ,1 tsp
Garlic paste,1 tsp,
Tomatoes paste ,2 large size,
Green chilli , 2
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder,1 tsp
Cumin powder, 1 tsp
Black paper powder,1/2 tsp
Coriander powder,1 tsp
Coriander leaf
Curd 100 g
Method of Mutter panner,
Hot oil in khadhai tempering(tadka) with jeera
Add chopped onion and green chilli saute until it turn soft (pink) then add Ginger Garlic paste saute
Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, Cumin powder,black paper,Coriander powder saute then add tomatoes paste and some water (according to your requirements) then drop peas (matar) cover and cook for 10 min in low flame
after 10 min stir continuously until it oil release then add Curd stir occasionally add water if require when spices release oil
add fried paneer or plain paneer (as you want) and some water (adjust consistency as your require)
Cook for 2 to 5 min add chopped Coriander leaf
Serve with chapati ,butter Naan or rice
